The collaboration has become a major business model within the design world and nowhere more so than the sneaker scene.  I was really excited to see Reebok partnering up with a major streetwear label like Jack Threads.  With this first drop of 3 slated releases, I can quickly see this partnership mirroring the JCREW X New Balance pairing, which has proved hugely successful.

I guess at the end of the day the sneaker itself and the work that goes into it is what defines the success of these collaborations and I have to say Jack Threads and Reebok hit a home run with these Classic Nylons, which come in 'Collegiate Navy' & 'Snowy Grey' colourways.

They have taken a classic retro runner and just tweaked it slightly, with some luxury thick suede, including a full suede tongue.  These are designed for all walks of life whether you are suited and booted or chucking on some raw denim with a flannel shirt, they have that universal appeal.  There are also some really nice details, with odd coloured stripes on the inside and outside of the shoe, eye popping under soles and orange detailing throughout channeling Jack Threads Signature logo colour.

The tough choice with these particular pairs is which one to choose?  For now though stay tuned to the Jack Threads website as there are two more collaborations on the cards.   If they even come close to the standard on these they will be worth a good look, and don't sleep as this particular release sold out quick sharp.  A sure sign that they delivered in spades with these bangers.  Congratulations on a great piece of work guys and here's to the future.
